Good day partner
Have you heard students saying: ‘I cannot do math’, ‘Math is difficult’, ‘I don’t understand my Math teacher’, ‘Very few students in my class passed Math in the last quarter’ ?
The interesting thing is, the teller or cash register lady cannot cheat these students and give them insufficient change, nor you give them less money than they asked for. Why is that? Isn’t that math?
The bottom line is: IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FAIL IN MATHEMATICS
Well, I have earned the right to say this because I have a PhD in Mathematics from Wits University, have taught in schools and universities, I’ve had private lessons with Math teachers, I’ve prepared Grade 12 final question papers and marked the answer papers, and I have seen students do very well in Maths, especially those who have thought of themselves UNABLE to do Maths. If I can do it, anyone can, considering I’m NOT the smartest guys in the room. Besides, many career paths require a background in Mathematics, or at least Maths Literacy.
This is the very reason I have established this tutorship and mentorship program called ‘Math Geniuses’, mainly as a way of giving back to the community and help contribute, albeit little, to the future careers of our youth today.
I have had many calls from parents whose kids I have helped before, asking to enrol other kids, especially now after the first quarter results have been published. So, enrol your kids now as there are ONLY 10 spaces available. Anyone from grade 4 to 12 qualifies.
PLEASE note that ALL the sessions will be done on Zoom Platform as we observe the covid19 social distancing protocol.
